Exsel Pumps has invested over £400k in a number of large specialist sewage pumps from the World renowned Betsy range of products. The unrivalled rag handling capability along with the significant fuel savings the Betsy range offers are key factors in the growing success of this product.
This enhances the Exsel fleet capability further as the company continues to offer specialist pumping capabilities with unrivalled products and superior service levels. Whilst based in the South the Exsel Special Projects Team has carried out work in East Anglia, South West and the South East including London.
The latest fleet investment of ten pump units in 8” (200mm) and 12” (300mm) discharge sizes incorporates the addition of the H12K HD Betsy self priming electric driven units.
The H12K HD Betsy pumps are considered to be the largest capacity mobile self priming surface mounted sewage pumping units available in the UK. With flows up 1,600 m3/h and solids handling of 150mm with the unrivalled true rag handling capability offered by the Hidrostal pump ends.
The pumps utilise the latest automatic priming technology developed for the Betsy range of pumps. All of Exsel’s Betsy pumps can be controlled via level controls including Milltronics systems.
Exsel Pump’s fleet can now offer diesel, electric and submersible pumps up to 16” (400mm) discharge for raw sewage handling with individual flow capability to over 3,000 m3/h.
This is further supported with ancillary offerings including flanged steel pipework up to 500mm diameter from stock including pipe bridges. Exsel’s trained and certified engineers provide a full installation through the Special Projects Team
