Exsel Pumps is proud to announce that we have officially signed up to the Armed Forces Covenant, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to supporting the Armed Forces Community.
As a business, we believe in giving back to those who have made huge sacrifices serving our country. We are proud to already have veterans within our team, whose skills, experience and dedication make a valuable contribution to Exsel Pumps every day. With our head office based in Fareham- close to the historic naval city of Portsmouth- showing our support for service men and women, both locally and across the UK, felt like a natural and important step for us.
We are committed to making a positive impact- not only within our workplace but throughout the wider community. We recognise the dedication and sacrifices made by our Armed Forces personnel, and we believe it is our responsibility to give back to those who have served, and continue to serve, our country.
Over the years, we’ve proudly supported the Armed Forces charities through donations and initiatives, but signing the Armed Forces Covenant marks a significant step forward. It is a formal promise to stand alongside veterans, reserves and their families, offering support in a meaningful and practical ways.
By signing the Armed Forces Covenant, Exsel Pumps is making a formal commitment to support those who serve, have served, and their families. We are dedicated to ensuring that members of the Armed Forces community are treated fairly and have equal access and opportunities. This includes considering ways to offer flexible working arrangements, particularly for their partners and spouses of service personnel, and providing insight days to older cadets exploring apprenticeship opportunities within our workplace. We are also committed to recognising and promoting key Armed Forces events such as Armed Forces day.
Through our pledge, we aim to strengthen our relationship with the Armed Forces community and continue supporting local charities that make a real difference to the to the lives of service men and women. We look forward to strengthening our relationship with the Armed Forces community and continuing to support those who have given so much for this country.
