Hoses & fittings for hire

To ensure that a pumping system is operating effectively and efficiently, it is recommended that good quality hoses and fittings are utilised which is why Exsel pumps hold a superior, extensive and comprehensive range.

Exsel pumps stock a wide range of pump fittings in both Bauer type lever lock and flanged configuration to ensure a leak free sealing.

An extensive and comprehensive range of hoses

To ensure that a pumping system is operating effectively and efficiently, it is recommended that good quality hoses and fittings are utilised.

Exsel pumps hold extensive stock and a comprehensive range of quality hoses for hire in both Bauer type quick release fittings or flanged hoses and pipes up to 1,200mm diameter.

Most applications will utilise Bauer lever lock quick release type connections but for sewage, high pressure, critical or longer-term applications the use of flanged pipework is considered necessary.

Rubber wire armoured hose is normally used for suction pipework or heavy duty steel pipes. Layflat and poly hose should never be used on the suction side of the pump.

Exsel stock the widest range of hoses, pipes and fittings to suit a wide range of applications.

Pump Surveying and Scoping

  • Rubber wire armoured flexible hoses with Bauer type couplings 50mm to 300mm.
  • Rubber wire armoured flexible hoses with flanged connections for high pressure and critical applications 100mm to 300mm.
  • Layflat hose with Bauer type couplings 50mm to 150mm.
  • Polytube Semi Rigid Hoses with Bauer type couplings 80mm to 200mm.
  • Heavy duty steel flanged pipe is also available – please refer to steel pipe section.

Exsel pumps offers a wide range of fittings

Exsel pumps stock a wide range of pump fittings in both Bauer type lever lock and flanged configuration.

The use of quality fittings on the hoses ensure a leak free sealing to prevent air ingress on the suction side or leaks of the pumped liquid on the discharge side.

There are higher levels of fines being imposed for sewage and diesel spills and the necessity for reliable and effective pumping solutions is paramount when handling sewage. This is a serious consideration for water companies, especially where most sewage plants are near to water courses or the sea. The potential cumulative damage in terms of environmental and financial impact by using the cheapest equipment is therefore enhanced.
