QHSE

Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental issues are a major commitment to Exsel Pumps.

Exsel Pumps is fully supported by the Turner Group Company in all aspects of QHSE and is regularly audited by fully trained and qualified auditors to ensure continuous improvement in all areas.

HEALTH & SAFETY

HEALTH & SAFETY is of paramount importance and to ensure that Exsel operates as a safe and responsible company. Membership of the British Safety Council and CPA ensures we are kept up to date with H&S requirements and awareness.

Employees are regularly trained in all aspects of health and safety and are regularly reviewed by occupational health experts.

QUALITY

QUALITY is a focus that applies across a number of areas, including service levels to our Customers and quality of equipment in our fleet. Quality drives excellence in service, health and safety, environmental aspects and benefits everyone.

Exsel is currently developing it’s systems and processes to obtain accreditation to ISO9001:2008 following the acquisition by Turner & Co (Glasgow) Limited.

ENVIRONMENTAL

ENVIRONMENTAL issues are also important to Exsel. In parallel to attaining ISO9001 quality standards, Exsel will also be seeking accreditation to ISO14001 the Environmental Standard.

However, Exsel has been working in an environmentally concerned manner for some time. This is reflected for instance in the make up of the Exsel fleet. Providing the most modern emission compliant engines, fully bunded to avoid ground contamination and with the lowest fuel consumption pumps available. All help to reduce the carbon footprint.

CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY

Exsel Pumps is working towards the Turner Group's Sustainability Programme to ensure that the business is managed in a way that delivers:

  • Financial growth
  • Nurtures our employees
  • Minimises our impact on the environment
  • Supports local communitites
