Wellpoint Dewatering

Exsel Pumps supply and offer an installation service for Wellpoint Dewatering.

Wellpoint Dewatering is the most versatile and common form of dewatering - coping with the low flows from silty sands, to the larger flows from course sands and gravels.

Disposable Wellpoints

Disposable wellpoints can be installed using a 360 degree machine and a high pressure water jetting pump, to a depth of 8m below ground level. The wellpoints are then connected to Dewatering (Vacuum) pumps via a common header pipe. Typically up to 70 wellpoints can be pumped by one 150mm (6”) Dewatering Pump.

Exsel’s SPP Pumps and Hidrostal Betsy pump ranges are ideal as dewatering pumps. The combination of economy, performance, vacuum and acoustic properties make them very popular with users and neighbours alike.
